πΊοΈ Expedition: Gandikota: The Grand Canyon of India ποΈπ°
The Land & The Story: Long ago, a river named Pennar cut through big red rocks to create a deep, beautiful valley called Gandikota in Andhra Pradesh. It looks just like the famous Grand Canyon! There is a big old fort on top of the hill. When you look down from the rocks, the river looks like a thin blue ribbon far below. The rocks are bright orange and red, especially when the sun sets.
π‘ Big Word: Gorge - A narrow valley between hills or mountains, often with a river running through it.
π Conservation Corner: Don't write your name on the ancient rocks or fort walls so others can enjoy their beauty too.
